    So desu ne... lol
  • Stacia · 2 years ago
Wow...just another product from Japan that makes me go...wow. I love Japan and it's utter...amazingness...and somewhat stupidity (I mean that in...not that way...I'm not calling Japan stupid...lol).

My friend went on rotary exchange to Japan, and I have a magazine of his...and there are some VERY interesting products...I mean...some are not the kinda stuff to discuss here. I think the most popular were makeup stuffs and advertisements for eyelid surgery.
  • Tiya · 2 years ago
yes, unfortunately we all may not be able to have hair like pai mei and be a kung fu master, but at least now we can all have long flowing locks of hair on our umm... arms?
    XD wow.
  • Erin · 2 years ago
I think there's something wrong with that girl...
  • Alec · 2 years ago
Lol, that's a pretty cute example from the girl. Kind of scary too.

Asianness never ceases to amaze me. No person would ever dream of making a fake goatee, and BAM!!!, Japanese people have already invented it. The only thing can hope for is to look half as cool as Mr. After-Man. I just hope that it isn't extremely painful when he pulls it off. yikes!
  • Erin · 2 years ago
Well, while I agree that Japan/Asia has come up with some pretty interesting inventions, so has the rest of the world! I wouldn't necessarily equate the weirdness/inovativeness of it with "Asianness", hahaha.

You're right, though, it must hurt when it comes off. If it didn't hurt, that would mean the adhesives weren't strong enough, which could turn out to be rather embarassing in some situations.
  • Kurisutofa · 2 years ago
I have to also point out that it must be a hassle when the real facial hair starts to grow back around it and even under the adhesive. I would assume you'll only be about to use it for a day, three tops.

    o_O Err... wow...
I think I'll just stick with the contacts that go in my eyes thank you ^^
    ...creepy.
  • Hanako · 2 years ago
I saw the CM for this on TV in Japan....or rather, the one for balding men.

apparently it won't come off in the water, so old bald men can go surfing with their new locks...fun~~

    Hello, Koichi-san.

Talking about something... somewhat related to this topic, I'm curious about the fact that Japanese girls shave their forearms. I do understand that, as any other culture, they have their ways as we have ours, but then again, I wonder... Is it because their arm hair is too dark or what?

Because here in America, you see all these girls with humongous amount of hair everywhere, which makes me think: Do Japanese find non-shavers ugly?

There, a very profound thought, you see.

    それでは、また。

  • Erin · 2 years ago
Well, I'm Asian, but I don't really feel the need to be hair-free on my arms. Maybe when I was younger I did, a little bit. I think the reason girls in Japan would shave their arm hair is because it is darker and more noticeable than a caucasian person's would be. And, yeah, I think Japanese guys like it more. I mean, if it's what they're used to, then I'm sure they would find it a little odd to be snuggling with a hairy-armed girl (hahaha, what a weird thing to say).
  • Erin · 2 years ago
Also, I hope you don't mind, but I'm Erin, not Koichi D:
  • koichi · 2 years ago
i dunno - maybe to become less wind resistant? I've never heard of this, so I have no idea.
  • 9no1 · 2 years ago
    Erin様へ

    申し訳ありませんでした。気につかなかったんです。
    D:

I see, all the hairy-armed girl thing must be awkward indeed. I'll keep this in mind, who knows, maybe I'll give it a try before going to Japan next year. Plus, that way I become less wind resistant... lol

Thanks for your answer, guys :) Keep up the good work
  • Erin · 2 years ago

    いいよ、いいよ。

Koichi said he didn't notice I have hair on my arms... but then again, I am a lot tanner than your average Japanese girl. And, I mean, I'm not like, a gorilla or anything, either! Haha. I have a normal amount of arm hair.

    Anyway, thanks for the encouragement~!

  • Titianna · 2 years ago
That's kinda cool. At least they dont have hair for 'down there' stick ons...but then again I've been lead to beleive that hair below the neck in Japan/Asia is Taboo.
  • nuttso · 2 years ago
well then i guess that means im taboo cause i like a frikin gorrila below the neck......lol

now i got also something for you guys.

Since few years ago i live here in Yokohama, Kanagawa (JPN)
i have sawn a lot of guys with normal hairstyle, then they go to the mall buy a kind of gel and the day after they have hair like goku and like death note style etc....

now this isn't a normal gel because we all know gel is ment to create styles but this is a moving rubber called GATSBY.

i bought all the different gels and i must say, i can't live without them, in 10mins my hair is straight and its really nice.

Wow, I actually really want to try this out. There are so many possibilities... like a happy face made out of hair... on your hand...
...or you could go to a sleepover and bam, all your friends wake up with beards... fufufufufu xDD

SO MANY POSSIBILITIES <3 I wonder if it's possible to order some for Canada at a reasonable price.

ALSO, I KNOW THIS POST IS REALLY OLD. I'm still gonna comment though.
