    I think this is a really cute look but I lack the right sort of tights right now and it's a bit too cold to go w/o them.

    I love that look...Maybe because I love 'The Breakfast Club' what a great '80's movie. God, it's so hot in Florida, I can't even where a jacket. God, I hate tropical climates, it was 78 degrees here yesterday! When I go to Japan I want to be one of those people who wear those crazy outfits. God I love their ridiculous fashion!!! >_<

    I really like this style, it's cute yet very practical. However, living in Michigan means I couldn't possibly wear this in December. Unless I want to be like those fashion slaves who wear mini skirts and high heals in 10 degree weather. D;
    You also have to have the legs to pull this outfit off. xD

    That's ok. Here in the desert it is ok to wear snow boots in the middle of the summertime so long as they're name brand.

    This is the same fashion theme we have in my country (Kuwait) only the inner dress would mostly be with horizonal lines and its OK to wear jackets shorter than the dress.

    Its cute, but I think its the kind of look for children not adults cos' it kinda covers the body features! if you have slim legs like most children you can pull it off; you'll look cute! but for over weighted people it'll make them look baggy!

    10/10 for kids
    0/10 for adults!

    Just wondering Erin, do you know of any good brands of tights to buy? Or where I might buy them?
    Also, do you have any experience in the land of leg warmers? And could you provide answers to the above questions pertaining to them as well?
    Sorry for all that blob of asking, but I am in desperate need of both these items at the moment and absolutely no idea where to look or what to get. Even if I could find some good pictures, I could try a hand at making them (the leg warmers).

    As for brands, I don't really know of any specific ones, since I buy tights so infrequently. I would recommend, however, looking for thicker, more cotton-y tights over ones with too much synthetic material in them (they all have some, though, so it's just a matter of proportions). MyTights.com is a really cool site for buying tights, I think, so you should definitely check it out. When it comes to leg warmers, I can't say that I have much experience with them. How were you thinking of wearing them? if you don't mind my asking.

    one question.....what the? Who wears a miniskirt in winter and a coat? I mean why wearing a warm, really warm coat and a mini skirt? Do those people not freeze? I love fashion, fashion I can wear. sorry it looks good...but it's useless, unless you don't take a walk outside.

    well , I live in Iceland. (yeah, it's a country) and here it is absolutely freezing but no one dresses according to weather. I'v seen this look quite some times actually, only with slim cut jeans, you know the ones that go down right to you ankles. But that isn´t cos it´s cold, it´s just the fashion here. here you can see girls, half way to Antarctica, in mini skirts. I'm talk 10 degrees below zero (or 14 degrees fahrenheit) so I guess if your determined enough I guess you could just kill the nerves in your legs and deal with it or even better, get frostbite! But really I agree with you, in cold climate it doesn't make sense at all.

    Well, as for those people complaining about how cold your legs being exposed is, why don't you just change the tights to skinny jeans? That way your legs are warm and you still look fashionable. Just a suggestion. o.o
