It sell $500 headphones as well. I'm not kidding. I would so eat them if they came to America. Cup noodle sounds kinda blah, but they’re actually really good. You’d probably get really tired of it if you eat it every day, but once in a while isn’t too bad.

Re: Canned Disaster Relief Ramen NOT a Disaster

Canned Ramen might be the most important thing that has even happened in the history of the vending machine world. When Zombies attack and people are stranded, only the Japanese will be in a safe spot. Vending Machines with Ramen will save Japan.

And the only way a vending machine can go to far is if you can get a bride out of a vending machine.

Re: Canned Disaster Relief Ramen NOT a Disaster

I think it is funny about getting shoes and an I pod out of a vending machine. Things like that would never work in America, I mean you have to put all kinds of chains, locks and mesh wire on a machine for potato chips just to keep someone from stealing those $.50 bags of lays.

Re: Canned Disaster Relief Ramen NOT a Disaster

I want to try this so bad.

Re: Canned Disaster Relief Ramen NOT a Disaster

wow i have heard of those canned noodles before i heard you could get some with oden in the cans have you heard of umaibou?

Re: Canned Disaster Relief Ramen NOT a Disaster

Man.. Just pop it open for delicious, but not guaranteeably fresh, ramen!
I personally would love to try this.
Well, the guy in the picture seems to be enjoying it, so why not? Hopefully someone going to a Japan in the near future will get a chance to try it and give us a little review.

But man, have you seen a picture of that konnyaku plant? Scary.

Re: Canned Disaster Relief Ramen NOT a Disaster

It's a wierd way to serve noodles, but it's convienient. I wonder why people in America would want to eat that. Who knows how they cook that stuff. I wouldn't eat that.(Especially out of a can)

Re: Canned Disaster Relief Ramen NOT a Disaster

Now that sounds awesome.
SCALDING DISASTER NOODLE CANS! haha now that sounds awesome

Re: Canned Disaster Relief Ramen NOT a Disaster

Wow, I don't think I would prefer this over the original ramen noodles. And I honestly do not understand how many vending machines there are in one place in Japan. Ipods? Well I have so much to learn, so thank you guys for putting up such a site. Hopefully when I go to Japan next year I won't be that lost with Japanese culture.

Re: Canned Disaster Relief Ramen NOT a Disaster

NONE of my friends here in the states understand what a big part vending machines play in the lives of the Japanese. If you are going to have a TON of vending machines all around a city, you have to do it right, and the Japanese really do. I don't know HOW many times I was walking around Tokyo and though "I really want a slimming green tea with antioxidants" and lo and behold, a vending machine would pop up right in front of me. Genius.

Now, those vending machines with iPods that I 've seen in Tokyo may be taking it a BIT too far, but wow, the US could really learn something here.

Re: Canned Disaster Relief Ramen NOT a Disaster

awesome, it would optimize the time that one needs to cook ramen and let us be even more productive. That or it would be less boring, since the boiling water looks like it takes forever.ht
