    That's ナベアツ (nabeatsu), a famous comedian who just...counts. A lot more entertaining than it sounds, I think.

    When He counts isn't it on certain numbers he makes a funny face such as the one in the picture. Now that I think about it I feel like a may have come across a Youtube video of him.

    im glad that you are tackling that scary subject of counters. why is it that there are so many? is there a reason or did they just decide to make counting as difficult as possible? lol. (im not quite sure who "they" are, but "they" are up to something! ^_^

    i have seen that ナベアツ guy a number of times on tv. the first time was when he climbed tokyo tower counting his steps and making a facial expression and contorting much in the way gary oldman does when he takes his drugs. in leon: the professional every time he counts says a multiple of three.
    why do japanese people find that funny? is it because they are retarded? because i've thought about it over and over and it's the only solution i've come up with.
