I just made agedashidofu (well, sort of) and put it on a bed of Peruvian-style rice (don't ask and I won't tell). Obama's smiling face would have looked good on top. I would have poured the dashi sauce to make it look like he had face diarrhea.

First Sushi........what can I say, looks good, but can it change the economy? On an oddly humorous side-note, there is a sliver of irony in "Obama sushi". Mr. President-in-chief was hailed as a "Messiah" (by god knows how many people). The irony becomes apparent when you remember how many people the OTHER Messiah fed with FISH, and then compare that to how many jobless, and possibly homeless people President Obama has to feed (and clothe, and put to work, etc...). If you don't get it, go read the bible (never thought I'd hear myself saying THAT).
P.S. In response to Kirara Suzu's "Obama coffee" comment. There already is such a thing. It's called Kenyan coffee. =)

Sorry for the two comments but I just wanted to ask, do you have any idea why the Japanese people like Obama so much? I know that he's cool and everything (his cool is over 9,000) But I just can't figure out why they would have a connection with them. His life story doesn't seem to correlate with Japanese culture, or do you think it's just a fad?

I think they got the colour of his face entirely right. I mean, maybe it's just me, but I think that his skin is getting more yellow everytime I see him on TV. But maybe my TV is just strange.
