My college is Lakeland College, they have a campus in Shinjuku. Here's a link my college gave me to kind of figure out where my college is http://www.japan.lakeland.edu/en/ofcl/htm/map.html

If I get on the right train, I should see a Makudonarudo in front of me when I get to the exit of the station where I get off. Thing is, I'm not sure what line I'll be taking yet since I don't know if I'll be staying at the college's dorm which is a 25 minute train ride from the campus, or living with a host family, thats going to be a longer train ride then. I signed up for a host family, but turns out, so did almost every one else (I'm going with 8 other people). But I have a few days before classes start when I get there, so I should be able to figure that out...I hope.

Though its cool that link is to Yokohama, because my hosr family may be living in Yokohama if I get the one I think I'm getting. So that will help me too.

SCORE!!! This is going to help me out big time!! The college I'm going to in a few weeks is in Shinjuku and I have no idea where to go aside from what the train maps tell me (whenever I figure them out anyway). This is so going on my bookmarks on my laptop.

If you want to save some money, you could also go to the Tokyo Metropolitan Building at Shinjuku, where they have a nice observationdeck, and guides. And it's free, and you can go eat with the employees in the cafeteria. And it's really cheap. I got a humongous omelette and a lot of rice for 500 yen. The guides are old people who work there for free, and some are quite adept in english, so people who can't understand can go to. You also get a free tour of the different offices at the Metropolitan building too. It's quite smart when you go to Tokyo for a class-trip(I did) and you have to live on a tight budget.

Ahh! There’s Cold Stone in Japan!? Yes! >:D Anyway, so, I was actually reading up on Yokohama’s Landmark Tower just the other day! I was basically drooling at the thought of it. It seems so amazing… o.o I want to go there one day and stay at the hotel. I thought it was so cool that the district was named Minato Mirai 21. What does the 21 stand for though? 21st century? If I ever get to go, I want to go to Odaiba too!

Ohh, and I don’t know if the view is 360 but I read that the 60th floor of the Landmark Tower has an observatory for the city. But I really don’t know if that’s right at all so don’t take my word.

Ah! Viet you unintentionally brought back amazing memories to me! I've been to Landmark Tower (during the day time) so this is really cool for me to see. I was like in awe when I was there, but I must say that the nighttime few is much more pleasing to the eye. Thanks! I had a lot of fun up there and this is just cool to see. :)
